“The weather is very cold and we are very tired.”  

The adverb ‘very’ is useful in helping us add emphasis to our descriptions. However, overusing this word may cause our writing or speech to appear boring, flat and lazy. When we rely on this qualifier too much, we may lack motivation to seek more precise words to enhance our presentation.
